Oh my gosh! It’s been twenty years since I opened my eyes to this amazing world. It’s hard to believe that I am actually twenty. It’s been two long decades of my existence. I know most of the people out there would articulate right away that twenty years is a very short span of time and that I am overrating it by calling it two long decades. But I can really validate what I said and why I said. I am not just saying but I mean it. I know people out there are much wiser and experienced than me. I accept this thing with open arms. I know according to you guys I might be a jerk trying to look cool. Well that’s okay and fine with me. But the thing that astonishes me the most is that despite being wiser and more experienced than me you (people who think I am a jerk) are not even attempting to think over it.

Now I will validate my statement “It’s been two long decades”. Yes, it’s been two long decades, two f***ing long decades since I am exploiting as well as polluting Mother Earth. I feel that it’s a long long time. We take pride in declaring that we are HUMAN BEINGS. The most intelligent species on this planet. We talk big and make plans in bulks about travelling to different planets and spending billions for the research of other planets. But we don’t want to think about our own planet. Since millions of years mother Earth has shielded us like a real mother from anything that could harm us. The number of people working on the projects aimed at other planets of the solar system or even other galaxies is far more than people working for our own planet’s care.

You might be thinking that I am opposing space research. But what I am trying to convey is that I am not against space research because it is a very very important thing. It helps us to comprehend how we came into existence. But before going to the history I feel that we should worry about our future. Today we are curious about knowing how earth came into existence and how we Human beings came into existence. But it’s time that we focus on the future rather than exploring past on such a large scale. Our first priority should be to care for our own planet. When we take pride in tagging ourselves as the most intelligent species on earth then it’s our prime duty that we take care of mother Earth in every possible way. Today global warming is the biggest problem we are facing which is even threatening the well being of our future generations as well as mother Earth.

There has been a lot of awareness in the past few years. But keeping in mind the population of the world it is still on a very small scale. It is time that scientists all over the world join hands together and divert their aims towards Earth’s care. This is not just about the scientists but we as the citizens of not one nation but we as citizens or children of mother Earth need to join hands and fight global warming in every possible way. We need to understand the fact that saving Earth is just a synonym for saving Human race. Earth has showered us with all the love and care we needed for the past millions of years. But now it’s our turn to show that how much we love Earth.

I wrote this small article because about a few weeks ago even I was totally unaware how big this whole global warming problem is. But now I have realized it and I am doing every possible thing that I can do to save mother Earth. It’s been twenty long years since I have been exploiting mother earth’s resources in every possible way. Now I will do whatever I can to protect her from this devil called Global Warming.
