PostHeaderIcon What Can We Do If The Copenhagen Summit Fails?

As I write this, the international climate change summit looks set to go the way of so many political get-togethers: failure, hypocrisy, delay and shunting the problem on to future governments and future generations. However, when our governments fail to lead us, perhaps we can lead them. Free, environmentally sound power may seem like an unlikely solution. Solar panels and wind generators cost a fortune right? Well no actually, you can have free power, after only a small initial outlay and a little time and effort.

Not only that but your free power will keep coming and coming, solar panels in particular have no moving parts and they will take many years to wear out if not damaged by some kind of impact or physical accident. Wind turbines do have moving parts and items like bearings may need replacing or overhauling every few years, but that’s all.

Governments, power companies and nay sayers will tell you that renewables can never replace nuclear, or coal, or gas fired power stations and as things stand they may be right. Frankly though, if every household in the developed world reduced its dependence on power brought in by national grids and power companies, by adopting the use of solar panels and wind turbines, the need for new power stations would go into reverse. In fact it’s just possible that where wind farms, hydro and tide power cannot supply all our needs now, maybe they could if we all took a little power into our own hands.

How often do you get the chance to do something good and profit from it financially? If you don’t want to, or can’t afford to spend out on professionally installed solar and wind power, easy to follow plans to build your own, from inexpensive, readily available components, with minimal tools and little expertise are available.

Don’t pass the problem on to your kids, help change the environment for the better, learn new skills, maybe share the building of you own mini home power station with your kids, teaching them new skills at the same time you demonstrate to them your care for the world they will inherit. Maybe even consider making a business out of it, or create a neighborhood project to bring people together and inspire other communities round about.

Every amp you generate will save you money, month in, month out for years and reduce your dependence on power produced using dirty or dangerous technologies. Free clean power, it’s not a dirty word and it doesn’t have to be a dirty world.

PostHeaderIcon The incredible Earth4energy product

The incredible Earth4Energy (E4E) is a system that shows you how to build your own solar panels as well as wind turbines for sustainable energy at fraction of the cost at which you would have bought it. The E4E product is available in separate parts.  The first part is an introductory part where in you will learn and master the basics of solar energy in a course that entails knowledge on how solar energy is generated.  In the first stage of the product you will also be familiarized with every component that is needed in a whole solar energy installation.

The second part of the E4E is about building your solar panel. This step consists of easy to follow steps that you can go with in order to master how you can actually build your own solar panel. The third part of the E4E product entails a holistic solar system help package. The solar help package constitutes four components. The first component deals with the ins and outs of installing and mounting the solar panels. The second component deals with electrical wiring plans while the tax credits ad rebates matters are dealt with into in the third component of the third part of E4E product. The last component in this part is the outline of the aspects and uses of the solar calculator.  The fourth part of the E4E product is a video serious of the course.  The formulated videos that you will get on the third part of the product are a step by step format punctuated with captions to enhance your learning experience. Now the video package is a-must for all who want to master the solar energy concepts.

The fifth part of the E4E product is a course on how to produce wind energy. In this part you will learn how to make a wind turbine and learn how wind energy is produced. You will also be furnished with step by step guides on how wind energy is produced. The last part of the E4E product dwells on furnishing you with bonus info. You get the bonus information in from of informative video series.  The top quality videos use screen captures as well as animations to explain everything that pertains to what you need to know about solar power. The price range for the Earth4Energy product is US49.97 which is normally held as the launch price and is subject to change after the launch period. The good thing with purchasing the earth4Enenrgy product is that you get incredible bonuses whilst you are also entailed to a refund in a period of 60 days after purchase.

PostHeaderIcon Renewable Energy and Solar Power

Renewable energy including wind turbines and solar power are becoming more popular as oil runs out and gas and electricity prices increase

Powering everything with solar energy isn’t possible just yet, since the UK doesn’t produce enough sunlight to do this.

Hi-tech ways to capture enough sunlight per day every day to power everything in a home or business hasn’t been discovered yet. The current cost of solar panels can run into thousands of pounds, which would require the panels to produce electricity for years without maintenance in order to see a return on investment. What is needed is more grants available to people to enable them to afford renewable energy in the homes. Otherwise only the relatively well off will be able to afford paying over 2000 for solar panels and then saving money over the next 10-20 years. B & Q and other retailers in the UK have now started to advertise solar and wind turbines on TV, they must becoming more mainstream for them to do this.

Currently, many people use solar panels, which can be placed on a side of a roof to attract sunlight during the day to heat a small number of rooms and water. Solar panels can be purchased at a number of locations throughout the UK, as well as online. To view UK companies involved in renewable sources of energy see the green directory. Panels do a great job of helping families and businesses to conserve energy. Hopefully, solar panels will become a part of daily life, in order to prevent the disappearance of natural resources and to maintain energy conservation. In August 2006 high street chain Currys have said that they will start to sell off the shelf solar panels at a substantial discount to existing suppliers. Also, houses that are being built locally now have wind turbines attached to create energy! At last progress from the house builders are making an effort – they can be the real drivers behind this change.

In the recent 2006 Budget announcement by Gorden Brown, millions of pounds have been allocated to helping homes and businesses take advantage of renewable energy and the benefits that it brings. This is a welcoming strategy by the government. More and more homes are also attaching mini-wind turbines to their homes to boost the electricity generated by solar panels, British Gas (Centrica) have recently been looking for volunteers to pilot this with.

Developing countries with sunny climates such as Africa are the perfect place to take advantage of this renewable energy especially in rural areas that are not connected to the national grid for electricity. There needs to be a commitment from the G8 and other government around the world in providing funds to achieve this.

I have just read about the founding of google and the founders are keep to develop solar power and have invested in a number of companies that have solar panels attached to like a mat that you can roll out and stick onto a building instead of the current large, expensive panels that are available at the moment!
